About Dave Koch
I’m Dave Koch — a luxury aviation photographer specializing in private jets, business aviation, and executive-level aircraft imagery. For more than two decades, I’ve worked across five continents capturing aircraft interiors, exteriors, air-to-air perspectives, and immersive 3D spaces for brokers, charter operators, OEMs, completion centers, and private owners.
My approach blends precision, elegance, and aviation familiarity — creating visuals that elevate listings, strengthen branding, and honor the sophistication of the aircraft themselves.
Jet Photos, Utah Skies & A Life Spent Around Aircraft
I grew up on Air Force bases across the West, spending weekends on the flight line with my eyes locked on anything that could climb skyward. Aviation wasn’t a hobby — it was the backdrop of my childhood.
Before I ever touched a digital camera, I was loading film in a junior-high darkroom. Fast forward to today, and you’ll find me with two cameras strapped on, sliding around a Falcon 8X cabin, waiting on the ramp for golden light, or strapped into a camera ship chasing a jet through blue air.
I’ve photographed Globals, BBJs, ACJs, Gulfstreams, and Falcons across North America, Europe, and the Middle East — always with a commitment to accuracy, elegance, and the kind of detail that moves buyers and inspires charter clients.
Aircraft Photography with Intention
Every aircraft has a personality — a story in its materials, layout, and craft. My job is to reveal it. Whether I’m shooting a Global 7500 interior, a Falcon 900 wing profile, or a twilight ramp sequence, I approach each frame with purpose, patience, and respect for the aircraft.
Make every image earn its place.
Born For This: From the Flight Line to the Flight Deck
My earliest memories include Edwards AFB, the roar of test aircraft, and — yes — the time I saw the X-15 painted pink. I’m still not over it.
Since those days, I’ve been fortunate enough to:
- Sit in a Space Shuttle cockpit
- Fly back seat with the Blue Angels
- Refuel a B-1 over New Mexico
- Survive the Vomit Comet
- Photograph aircraft from B-52s to A-10s, F-16s to BBJs, across the globe
Aviation isn’t something I learned for photography. It’s something I lived first — and now bring into every project I shoot.

Every aircraft tells a story. My role is to translate it visually.
From the Wasatch to the World
Utah is home — red canyons, silver light, and endless desert skies. That sense of scale, quiet, and patience shapes how I photograph jets. It inspires the way I frame cabins, chase twilight, and capture the presence of an aircraft on the ramp.
When the Jet Matters, You Bring in the Right Photographer
Aircraft listings and fleet presentations are one-shot opportunities. I arrive prepared — with the gear, the aviation familiarity, and the workflow to shoot cleanly, efficiently, and at a level that reflects your aircraft’s true value.
Need twilight? Done. Need 3D? Covered. Need air-to-air? Let’s fly. Need it fast? I’ve delivered under tight windows for years.
Dubai or Dallas — I travel light.
