Sky Harbour engaged AeroMedia to produce a full visual launch package for its Addison campus, including architecture, lifestyle, video, and 3D assets used across marketing, investor materials, and brand rollout.
1. Strategic Scope & Scalability
Sky Harbour develops ultra-premium private hangar campuses designed for UHNW jet owners. This production focused on capturing the facility, environment, and lifestyle positioning at launch.
Originally scoped for architectural stills, the project expanded into a full production including cinematography, Matterport 3D capture, and lifestyle direction. The entire scope was executed within a single operational window to maintain visual consistency and minimize disruption.
2. Operational Execution
Production took place on an active ramp, requiring coordination with ground crews and adherence to safety protocols while staging multiple aircraft assets, including Bombardier Global and Gulfstream aircraft.
To support the expanded scope, I brought in two assistants and coordinated professional lifestyle talent (two adults and a child). Talent was sourced, cast, and directed in collaboration with Sky Harbour’s VP of Marketing, Emily Mitacek.
Equipment & Workflow:
- Tilt-shift lenses for architectural precision
- Strobes and flash fill to balance large-scale natural light
- Matterport Pro3 system for full virtual walkthrough capture
- Still and motion coverage across hangar, lounge, ramp, and approach
Production Timeline:
9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Aircraft were repositioned throughout the day by FBO personnel. A G-Wagon and S-Class Coupe were integrated for lifestyle staging aligned with the brand.
3. Strategic Solutions & Unique Aspects
- Agile Production: Video and 3D capture were integrated within two weeks of the shoot.
- Technical Lighting: Strobe systems were deployed to balance large hangar openings and maintain consistency.
- Aircraft Coordination: Aircraft were repositioned multiple times to support composition and realism.

A defining moment of authentic emotion captured during production.
One of the defining moments occurred during the family boarding sequence. Rather than capturing a static pose, I directed the talent toward a natural interaction — shifting the image from staged to authentic.
This frame became a core brand asset, used to humanize the Sky Harbour experience and connect with UHNW clients.
4. Outcome
Result: A complete visual asset library supporting Sky Harbour’s Addison campus launch across digital, investor, and marketing channels.
Final deliverables included:
- 3 promotional videos (hero, narrative, informational)
- Full Matterport 3D walkthrough
- 35+ final high-resolution stills
These assets are actively used across Sky Harbour’s website, marketing campaigns, and presentations, with the hero video serving as a central launch piece.
